Umpire Liaison Officer (ULO) Required.

Stu Wallace after acting as the ULO for several years stood down at the last AGM. We need a club member to carry on the good work that Stu did. The job description is as follows:

1) Act as the club contact point for umpire related communications from the league, individual umpires and the HHUA.

2) To request umpires for specific games via the relevant Hampshire Hockey Umpires Association (HHUA) appointment secretary.

3) Confirm appointed umpires no later than 9pm Tuesday before match day.

4) Ensure that match day contact details are provided to both the appointed umpires and team captains in case of emergencies.

5) Act as or appoint a designated player to act as an umpire host on match day before, and after the game.

It is important that this role is filled, so please come forward and do your bit for your club. Stu will help you into the role its not a case of being dropped in at the deep end.

Welcome To Tadley Hockey Club

Tadley Hockey Club has two men's hockey teams that play in the Hampshire open leagues during the winter. We also run a mixed

hockey team ‘The Scarlet Badgers’ in partnership with the Scarlet Runners Hockey Club playing during the summer.

Start of the Season Club Game

The usual pre-season opener is this Saturday the 4th September.

A gentle run around club game to blow out the cobwebs! 1.30pm at Bradfield College and back to the Badgers afterwards
